BMJ Best Practice

BMJ Best Practice has been bought nationally as part of the NHS Core Content, which means that it is available to all NHS staff. It has many of the features of UpToDate:

  • Individual accounts
  • Downloadable app
  • Topic based
  • Evidence–based approach
  • Fully referenced

In addition, BMJ Best Practice has a British focus and is designed for clinical staff working for the NHS.

BMJ Best Practice can be accessed from the Library Page of the Trust Intranet without a login, or any internet-connected device using your own account. It can also be accessed from the Resources Access column of the library website, using an NHS Athens account.
